The Shikeki Project: Orochimaru’s Request

After grabbing some needs for his trip that he thought to be a long but short lived trip, Shikeki headed North where he last remembered his friend Talim Uzumaki last being at.I wonder if she’ll be there still or could she have moved once again, he thought to himself.Shikeki still couldn’t believe that he might have to kill his best friend’s girl. But it was Orochimaru’s wish so let be done. He shook his trying to clear all his emotion. Slightly speeding up his pace. This trip should only take a bout a day and half for him at the most. Bubblez had given him a pretty well drawn picture of Talim. There was no mistaking that. He really might be faced with killing her after all. Still he couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to his friend over the year. And this Bubblez chick, how did she get this information. Everyone always said she was weird and ditsy. Not someone you’d think would be holding information like this in that brain of hers.

“I can’t stress to you how important this mission I have for you is Shikeki kun~” A slithering voice said from the darkness. I raised an eyebrow. “And what might that be Lord Orochimaru?” Orchimaru sama laughed manically towards my statement. This of cores slightly annoyed me but I let it go. “Have you heard of a group by the name of Ikutsaka?” Shikeki scoffed, “The rumored organization that doesn’t really exist?” Orchimaru smirked, “Don’t be fooled so easily Shikeki kun. Of cores this rumored organization exist. You have encountered them on a few occasions after all.” I was about to correct him, but what ever he was talking about just got a lot more interesting so I said nothing. “Finally interested huh? This group, kutsaka- has been spotted on a few occasions particularly around Bijuues and wars.” I glared at him, ” Spit it out already Lord Orochimaru what are trying to get to?” He looked at the ceiling, ” Ha! Hasty as always Shikeki kun. Well, this group is going around helping others and trying to mess up my plans. And to put it simply I wish for their leader to killed.” I smirked, “Let me guess you want me to find this Ikutsaka’s leader and kill him right?” Orochimaru smiled, “precisely.”

I looked at him in the eye, “So, do we have a name, or identity for this leader person or shall go around killing people till I find out?” Orochimaru chuckled, “That’s the thing Shikeki kun. Their alleged leader is to have been your once trusted friend from Konaha. Talim Uzumaki.” His voice cringed with tone of slight hate in it. My eye widened. “WHAT?! Your saying she’s the leader?! Do you know this for sure?” I saw Lord Orochimaru close his eyes and slight shake his head from left to right, “No one really knows, but that’s what’s been floating around from people’s mouths. That she’s the one. And given he history with undercover workings I wouldn’t out it past her to be a leader. I mean Talim is no pusher over after all am I right, Shikeki kun?” I glared at him, “I’m afraid you might be mistaken on this whole thing lord Orochimaru. I don’t think she would be given her history of being a goody goody with everyone she has ever worked with or for. Talim is not type to be around with criminals or work for them. She wouldn’t tolorate it. But I don’t expect someone like you that she probably hates to know even that much about her.” Orochimaru humphed, “Well, I know for sure Talim has never been the type to tell secrets such as something like Ikutsaka if even knows anything about them. So, hows about this since I know you won’t be willing to kill of your friend so easily. Find out all you can about Ikutsaka from her, and if she turns out to be the leader then kill her.” I sighed, “And what if I don’t kill her?” Orochimaru got up from his chair, and started walking away, “Then you will be killed instead Shikeki kun~” I scoffed to myself, and telaported out of there as fast as I could.

The sun quickly faded to darkness, and Shikeki threw his bed on the ground and set a small camp. Cooking some fish and rice for dinner he glared at the fire for a moment. He still couldn’t figure out what he was going to say, or even do for that matter once he found Talim. I mean they have had nothing but good history together and he never thought he would be faced with possibly killing someone he could trust. But like Orochimaru had told that what Talim did was she got people to trust her. He shook his head in confusion. Shikei knew Talim from when they were kids though. That was the difference, Orochimaru as far as he was concerned knew nothing about her or of her. This slight bothered him that Orochimaru acted like he did. But pushing all emotion aside he laided down as the final embers of the fire started to dye down. Closing his eyes he had a short unsatisfying sleep.

Early mornings was never my thing. Especially not today. I grabbed my belongings and headed towards Konaha’s walls. I crept in no problem being as I sued be in their Anbu team a while ago. And I walked along the wall line, pulling my hood over my head so no one could see who I was. Strange I can’t sense her any where. Looking around for a couple minutes. I searched the whole area undetected. No sign of her. This pissed me off. I was sure she would still be here. Why would she leave her brother here and not take him with her. She was always paranoid about leaving him with others and now she leaves him alone. That’s not like her, maybe something happened to cause her to have to-No! Doesn’t matter now she’s not here time to leave! Hmm, but where next?

Just before he could move someone appeared behind him, “Hey you what are doing here?!” Shikeki’s eye twitched. “No one’s allowed up here so go-” next thing the guard new he was starring at his own blood spraying in the air. As the body hit the ground Shikei swiped his sword clean, “I don’t give a shit to what Konaha’s rules are I’[m leaving.” With a blank stare he walked away as the guard’s body caught fire and became nothing but ash in a few minutes. Just as he left konaha, he remembered Talim mentioned something about she wouldn’t mind visiting the land of Wind and say to hi to some friend she made down during preliminary trails. So, land of the wind it was. Something still bothered Shikeki to the point of irritation.

Just one more time I had to look at that picture Bubblez gave me before we went our separate ways. Holding it up where the sun hit the middle of the paper I saw something scribbled on the back. Turning over the paper I saw a map of the area from the Sound village to all the surrounding village near by. It was marked up with red xs and green lines high lighting certain paths ways. After a minute of looking it over I figured out what exactly Bubblez gave me. To my surprise, fucking Bubblez gave me routs and places that Talim visited or would most likely be at. Wow! Once I finish this fucking mission, I will find out what is up with Bubblez. I honestly at this point can no longer consider her a stupid annoying dits. She just might one of the most useful people in our village to me now. She’s annoying with her love for rainbows and pandas though can’t for get about that since that’s all she talks about besides Saki and getting drunk…Now lets see the first place closest to Konaha is, this place. La-nd of Lillies. Huh, leave to Talim to go all the damn place. Making it hard to track her just as we were thought to do in the Anbu and police force. God! -grumbles to himself while heading for the nearest marked location.-
